Personal Journeys of The Deep South

Welcome
to Journeys For The Soul

Our goal - To provide you with a fulfilling learning experience that takes you through the Movement that changed the landscape of America ~ the Civil Rights Movement.

Your experience includes a uniquely personal and intimate eyewitness account of the uncivil days of the Civil Rights Movement - from the foot soldiers who where there and who are still fighting to keep their history alive.

Lead Journey Specialist, Joanne Bland was 11 years old in 1965 when she became involved in the Voting Rights Movement in Selma, Alabama.  The events she lived through during that time, particularly on the Edmund Pettus Bridge during Bloody Sunday have shaped the course of her life.

Our Services - the journeys are customized to meet your needs - from college groups to family reunions, Journeys for the Soul will accommodate you.
